New 2012/2013 Dynafit Vulcan Boot Highlights -- VIDEO
As expected, Dynafit is launching some pretty tasty alpine touring boots (seven of ‘em) for next year. They have incorporated some of the features from their TLT “elf boots” into the new line. What impressed us most was the “ultra lock” feature which makes changing from touring to downhill a snap. The top buckle reaches right around the back and a “pin” fits into a hole in the cuff to lock-in for downhill mode. It’s a little tricky to do it justice with words. Look at the vid and it’ll all make sense. Super cool and efficient.
We grabbed Dynafit spokesman and all-around good guy Eric Henderson and asked him to tell us about what he was excited about, boot-wise, for the coming season. We hope to be getting some of the new Dynafit products for testing and we’ll be sure to share more on-snow impressions with you. In the meantime, heeeeeeeere’s Eric expanding on the hybrid theory as it relates to the 1590-gram Vulcan.
Here, just to keep you salivating, are all the Dynfit binders on offer.
