Diamir Fritschi Vipec 12 Tech Binding details
Diamir Fritschi has been pretty absent from the R&D pool in the past few years when it comes to binding innovation but this is about to change. The Vipec 12 is Diamir Fritschi’s entry into the very fast growing tech binding market. They are stating that this is the world’s first ski binding to combine the lightweight pin system of a tech binding with the power transmission and pre-defined safety release of an alpine binding. The Vipec also features an Easy Switch heel and toe piece that allow the skier to switch between ski and walk mode without stepping out of the binding. They weigh in at just 1.08kg / 2lb 6oz per pair and are available with brake sizes of 120mm (XL), 108mm (L) and 95mm (M). There are also crampons available for the Vipec 12 which come in a medium and Wide version.
