Salomon's development of backcountry ski gear never sits still for long, each season they seem to be intensifying the pace at which they come out with new products. Lighter weight and more innovation is always par for the course and next seasons backcountry specific ski the Salomon Q BC Lab Skis are no exception. Weighing in at 1.8kg with dimensions of 140/114/128mm for the 176cm length and 141/115/129mm for the 184cm length, with full utility rocker and CFX superfiber for dampening and lightness. The Q BC Lab Skis may be a mouthful to say but they sure look like a hell of a backcountry ski! Give a watch of the video overview below...
Salomon also has developed a new backcountry specific pole for the coming season, they call it the Salomon Q Vario Carbon Pole, check it out:
Not to leave the Salomon Quest boots out of the lime light for next season they will get an increased cuff rotation to 47° and lightened up to 1.7kg. With a 110 flex rating and hike and ride technology the Quest Pro TR 110 AT boots are lookin' good.
