        5th Annual SROAMAZING Race!

        Selkirk College's Ski Resort Operations & Management (SROAM) students are hosting their 5th annual charity to raise money and awareness for Avalanche Awareness Beyond the Boundaries Society (AABBS). This scavenger hunt was started in 2010 and has flourished ever since, providing not only a fun experience for members of the community (family friendly) but great prizes as well. I personally have daunted embarrassing costumes and ran my heart out around the streets of Nelson, BC to win a snowboard, ski jackets & pants, a BCA avalanche pack and more! 

         The Race starts at 1pm today (Saturday October, 17, 2015) at the Nelson District Youth Centre and goes until about 4pm. Head down early if you haven't already registered. $20 for a team of 4.
