As if Covid had not already taken enough; it's now removing beards

 To some, a beard is merely a hairy face. To others, a fashion statement. But there are also those who believe every hair protruding from their face is an individual fibre of their soul, a gentle extension of the self extending beyond the boundaries of the skin. 

 And now they must shave. Yes, that’s right. The pandemic has not taken enough from us, it must also take our beards. Or at least this is the case for many patrollers gearing up for the 20/21 winter season. For full details be sure to check out this article from the nytimes.  PS. While the CDC may think ‘the pencil’ (left most) is acceptable, it may not win over every crowd. That said, it’s supposed to be hidden under a mask so who’s to know? Go ahead, live your life; they may take your beard but they can’t take your freedom.
