Climbing Mythbusters
I recently dropped my ATC at the top of a climb and watched it bounce off a rock on its way to the forest floor. It wasn't a big fall and there was no obvious damage but seeing as it's a device whose failure could result in serious injury or death, I figured I would do a little research. That's when I stumbled upon this little gem of an article.Reverso VS .357 Magnum. Image courtesy of geir.com.
The article walks us through 7 climbing myths and their thorough testing in order to throw some hard facts at common questions.
Now, let's start by saying that if you have any doubt in your gear you should replace it. I have no affiliation to geir.com and can neither verify nor disprove any claims made in the article and can only recommend you do your own research and make your own decisions. That being said, I thought it was a great read and I hope you enjoy it.
