DAY 1: Trevor Kennison returns to the backcountry as an adaptive athlete
So, it’s the New Year, and the snow has been around for a while now.
Many of you have spent at least a handful of days on the snow, and the keen beans probably have a good 30 days under their skis already. It’s been fun so far, to say the least. It’s that early season phase: where the stoke is high, but the stamina is oh-so very, very low. Even though you might remember landing that sweet cliff drop last spring, launching it like last year might still leave you blowing up in the landing or saying hey to your good friend Tommy as soon as you hit any chatter. As ready as you may be to fly to the moon, maybe your knees just aren’t yet.
And that’s Okay.
