Girls Do Ski
Girls Do Ski Is a Coaching & Clinic based program with a focus on Inclusion. Their programs promote a safe & supportive community for all women, or self-identifying women to feel welcome, and learn in a productive atmosphere.
Girls Do Ski was founded by Professional Skier Leah Evans about 12 years ago. The goal was simple; provide an educational resource to the female skiing community in order to improve technical skills and build mountain savy. This chief goal, coupled with a focus on confidence, breaking down mental and physical barriers to the sport, and creating & fostering new relationships with other female athletes has evolved into an amazing network of coaching opportunities, events, and skills clinics.
Their team of female leaders involves a mix of professional skiers, ski guides, people working in the avalanche industry, and just women stoked to be out on skis!
Their camp style offerings include something for everyone. From learning how to link sweet turns on blue groomer runs, to smashing drops and engaging in steep terrain with skill. On the resort, or in the backcountry - there's a clinic for just about any level of skier. They even feature something called 'STANCE' coaching - which imbues a more holistic approach and focuses on the mental aspects of skill development, confidence, and mindset.
