Is it too early to talk about fitness resolutions?
It's Christmas Eve, you're probably wondering who in their right mind wants to be talking about fitness resolutions when we should be thinking about Baileys in our coffee, fine cheeses, and eating too much pie. Well, I'm not saying you can't do all those things, in fact I think you should enjoy those things, I know I will be.But I found an interesting article, and I think it nails this whole fitness thing. I won't spoil it, Will Gadd does a wonderful job putting it into words. What I will say, is remember to go for a ski (or snowboard) before, or after, you eat too much pie. Move your body before you splash that Baileys in your coffee. It doesn't have to be an intense session at the gym, and you don't need to set lofty goals for the New Year. Just move your body in a way that is sustainable and that you enjoy, and do it today, don't wait 'til next year. On that note, I'm getting off the couch and going snowboarding.
