        Mt Alwyn BC Rec Site Cabin

        I tried to book the Mt Alwyn BC Rec Sote and Trails cabin in Maurier Creek east of Silverton.  The Mt Alwyn rec society told me they aren't accepting new members and only members can book the cabin.  

        It seems kinda crazy BC Rec Site and Trails cabins can be effectively private cabins.  Our tax dollars pay the salaries of the Rec officers who adjudicate these Rec Sites.  What are your thoughts?
