Noah Dines record day in quest for 3million

3 Million vertical feet in a year.
That is the quest that Noah Dines, from Stowe VT, has set himself for this calendar year. The previous record holder is Aaron Rice, who managed 2.5 Million vertical feet. It is also worth noting that this is vertical feet climbed in a year for the record. This obviously means you have to ski down again.

In attempting this quest, Noah Dines has beaten Greg Hill's record for uphill vert in a month. In January 2024, he completed 378,024 vertical feet. This was more than Greg Hill managed by 49,000 feet, approximately. To put that into perspective, Noah Dines climbed over 1 and a half times the height of Everest more than the next best, in one month.
At that rate, he is on for around 4 million feet. Obviously this is an exceptional month, but one wouldn't put money against Noah Dines completing his quest, based on his first month.
