Squaw Valley has Finalized a New Name

The resort formally known as Squaw Valley has finally changed its name after a year-long process. The new name - Palisades Tahoe - is a reference to the Palisades; a trademark terrain feature Squaw had long been known for and a zone featured in several MSP films. The new logo (pictured below) features an eagle - a symbol significant to the local Washoe tribe. Palisades Tahoe elaborates on their new name, the process, and most importantly - why they chose it.
