A sense of adventure and a little bit of luck

We have all been there. Taking the next step is always a scary thing and you can't be 100% prepared for anything without some hands on experience however that's not always a possibility can read manuals and practice but there's something to be said about jumping in the deep end and figuring it out on the way.
Two of my good friends based out of Banff did just that. Dan and Michelle had only a handful of winter camping experience and Michelle borrowed my tent for the expedition. They weren't your typical Arctic circle adventures. Just hearing about the preparations prior to the trip just had me on the edge my seat. That huge sense of adventure just busting out of every fiber of my being and I wasn't even going! It's that feeling some of us live for, the not knowing but desire to find out.
Dan evans recently released an edit of the Polar Star Couloir and you can really feel the sense of scale and remoteness of the area. Hopefully this inspires those of you who are on the fence of a great adventure. You don't walk into every situation with the perfect resume but humans are nothing if not adaptable.
