Banff Mountain Film Festival
A sure sign that summer is wrapping up and we are into fall is the announcement of the Banff Mountain Film Festival. Starting Oct 30th and running until Nov 7th before the show hits the road and comes to a town near you.
An audience of over 10,000 attends the Banff Mountain Festival at The Banff Centre in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Festival goers can experience more than 30 events over nine days including screenings of the world's best mountain films and readings from adventure writers, noon-hour seminars tackling current mountain issues, panel discussions and presentations by prominent mountain personalities, filmmakers, and industry figures, a trade show that puts the latest outdoor equipment, clothing, books, and adventure travel at your fingertips, and more.
