        Coldsmoke Rolling

        Just a heads up to anyone considering heading up to Whitewater to check out the Coldsmoke Festival. It's worth checking it out for sure. I sampled 2 pairs skis: the BD Drifters and the new Dynafit Stoke---both entries into the lightweight, kinda fat touring ski. I would have appreciated a little more snow to really evaluate them but both models were playful, fun and worked on the groomers.

        There were two comps today: the ROAM Randonee Rally and the Valhalla Pure Powderkeg Booter. I left before prizes were being given away so I'm not sure who won. It was super sunny today and the weather people are calling for more of the same tomorrow. The snow started to soften up nicely toward the end of the day. I'll be back up tomorrow. Scarpa Poker Run at 9:OO and the Gericks "Banked" Slalom at 12:00. An excellent way to pass a Sunday! Cool
