        Grab your rock skis and head for the hills!

        I would say conditions were variable, but we still managed to have a terrific weekend filled with tentative turns, everything must go yard sales and a whole bunch of laughs.


        After seeing a post about snow at Alps Alturas a few weeks ago I managed to convince some equally eager/silly people to join me on a trip to New Denver.


        Things looking promising on the way up.

        A brouhaha of a party at Odin's pub the night before as well as 30-40cm of snow meant we didn't click into skis until around 2pm.

        Time on snow is always time well spent!
