It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings

Spring time in the kootenays usually involves biking, kids playing and flowers blooming - but this year we will have none of that silliness. It has been one of the coldest and snowiest on record and that is just fine by us. We say keep it coming.

Have a look at the local Red Fish Snow Pillow chart (the test pit is located approximately 30km east of Nelson BC) and you will see why we here are Backcountry Skiing Canada are smiling:

If we all pool our conscious minds I think we can make the little dark blue line creep up past the little light blue line. Happy, happy.
