Leslie Anthony holds a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Toronto and wrote Snakebit: Confessions of a Herpetologist, but skiing has always remained a passion. Anthony has won awards for both his poetry, and journalistic work in outdoor, action sport, and general-interest magazines such asSkier, Equinox, explore, and Powder, on whose masthead he’s appeared for twenty-one years. He lives in Whistler, British Columbia.
