Powderwhore Productions presents 'Elevation' a backcountry ski film
It's that time of year again when ski trailers hit the net in anticipation of ski movie season this fall and ultimately ski season itself. With likely only about 10 – 12 weeks to go until we can actually put ski to snow here in the Great White North ski trailers are nice respite from summer.
From Powderwhore Productions comes this years flick entitled 'Elevation – a backcountry ski film'. Right up our alley! Although the trailer is not due out until Sept 3rd we've got some screen caps to share along with the promotional poster.
The Powderwhores call this "part ski porn, part documentary and a full on propaganda piece promoting the joys and wonder of exploring on skis and split-board." Powderwhore Productions is not your typical big budget company and as they say "what we lack in flashy graphics, hi-tech camera gear and helicopter budgets, we make up for with try-hard."
Elevation is a pure backcountry ski flick so we are all eyes. "Capturing wild mountains and those willing to put in the time, education, respect and energy that they demand is our pleasure." Bring it on Powderwhores.
