Seasonal melt timing. Alpine flowers out yet?
Word has it that the seasonal melt here in the Kootenays is about a month ahead of schedule. And with 30+ degrees forecasted for the next week or so, it's likely that most all snow will dissappear from the alpine. Maybe it's time to put away the paddles (and skis) and go backpacking.
