Sol Mountain Lodge Opening Week

I was fortunate enough to help out with the opening festivities .... I mean the hard work to open Sol Mountain lodge for this upcoming season. Lot's of shoveling, sauna testing , food eating, beer sampling and a little skiing was the mantra of the week. We were greeted with blue bird skies nearly everyday excluding the top up of fresh we got mid week. With 9 days of ski touring we took one afternoon to slow down and pull out the ole moving picture machine. All shot in a little zone called the bunny slopes it is only a small sample of what is available to you as terrain options at Sol. Anything from perfect glades, smooth alpine lines, chutes and loads of pillows. Everywhere. Once you have had your fill there's always a cold beer, a hot shower and an even hotter sauna waiting for you when you get home. There's even a bumping sound systems, Wifi and flushing toilets. One thing is for certain. It's not a hut, it's a lodge. A big thank you to Aaron for the invite and if you haven't already check out Sol Mountain Lodge!
