        The Avalanche Forecaster - VIDEO

        Drew Hardesty is an avalanche forecaster in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains. His job includes collecting data, evaluating weather patterns and snow science while raising awareness of avalanche safety.  He knows the inherent risk, “science & art” of life in the backcountry. Black Diamond TV does an amazing job conveying the message of our responsibility to make good decisions while getting after that deep, bottomless pow.



        I have watched this video a dozen times already in preparation for this winter. I am looking forward to spending as much time in the backcountry as après skiing with my buddies at the end of the day. Play safe everyone!
