Bow Summit
Had a super fun day at Bow Summit yesterday, beautiful sun and great snow. Talking to others, it sounds like the snow has really settled over the past week and a base is starting to form. Despite the 20+ cars in the parking lot there were fresh turns to be found as there were at least 4 avis courses happening.
Despite the great early season snow and reasonably warm temps, remember it is still early season skiing in the Rockies, and caution should be used.

In terms of the snow conditions there is a surprising amount of coverage for November! We didn't dig any pits, but talking to a friend who was out the day before and did dig one it sounds like there is a layer about 50cm down (potentially the November 6 rain crust mentioned in the bulletin) that reacted in the moderate range.
