Jasper national Park Snowpack
hey everyone,
I am going to Jasper in about 2 weeks and i am looking to do some touring around the athabasca glacier (i.e. Parkers ridge, Hilda peaks, Wilcox pass). The canadian avalanche centre is talking about a deep persistent weak layer in the snow pack... anybody knows how deep and how weak it is?? also, I am looking for some partners if anybody would like to join me, let me know!

That would be the 140210 (Feb 10th) layer.
On the parkway a few weeks ago it was any where from about 90 - 110 cm down depending on where we were digging (so don't take that as gospel)...
