        Eagle Pass

        Hi,

        A friend and I went up to see some snow at Eagle Pass Mountain last weekend (on snow shoe). We made it to within 4.5 km of the Eagle Pass Summit Trail with the truck so we decided to snowshoe up the road. We made it to the trailhead only. We tried going up the trail a little but the alder has pressed down making snowshoeing or ski touring really difficult right now. There was 56cm of snow there (1500 m). Just thought I'd report back the conditions!
