PHOTO COMP - \"Jumbo\"

That first day of the season is always memorable, but why settle for just a day. Jumbo pass cabin is a great place to escape when the rain is falling in town, but you know up high the goods are being delivered. Trying to pick the right time when the snow is good and the road in is still drivable can be tough. Last year our truck got faceshots for kilometers but the high snow line this year made the drive easy and our approach day quick. The only reason we came back with bases was because of the rain crust from early november. A bit of soft on top made everyone smile, if only the visibility had been better we might not have nursed those hangovers so long.

Has anyone been up there recently? Unfortunately we thought there was a bridge out on glacier creek side, its now repaired.
