Soap Box- Shredding the Deep
Well, Ullr finally gave in and hooked us up with some amazing new snow!!! The last weeks have been spent between shredding the gnar inbounds and finding some amazing tree'd shots in the back/slackcountry.
Very touchy start to the storm with tons of whumpfs and remoting a few smaller slides on convexities. Snow was unbelieveably deep and juicy though and as long as you kept the angle mellow and the trees tight you could safely play in some amazing snow.
Skinning up with a beauty backdrop!
We wanted these pillows but the slope was 2 steep and not stable enough so we will wait till another day.
But you can't complain when the snow is this damn good in the trees. Hot Laps!!!
And the snow still continutes to satisfy, over 2 weeks past the storm. Things are getting better out there for stability but its still definitely sketchy and if you do find a weak spot shes going to go huge. Have fun out there everyone, have a great march and stay safe!!!
