        Kootenay Pass Trip report

        Just posted to the CAC Kootney Pass Page:

        Skied up Cornice ridge today (Saturday Jan 22/11) went over towards the RCMP repeater and skied into Lost Creek. The cornices were buildin and were quite fragile. One had broke off at the top of Cornice ridge and caused about size 1 avalanche. We seen evidence of old slide debris and crowns just east of Buzz"s ridge where the whole bowl slid. Runout went for at least a 100 metres after it hit the flats
