PHOTO COMP- \"entrance\"
On a beautiful, sunny, calm day Adam and I decided to go and play in the Waldie Lake Basin. As anyone who tours in the Kootenay Pass area knows that these days are rare to say the least. With the pass getting busier and busier we find ourselves going to new zones everytime we go out. After climbing up Wolf peak we dropped North down some beautiful open slopes. From the bottom of the run we climbed up and over the southernmost peak above Waldie lake. After a short ride north down the ridge we found the entrance to this aesthetic run. We call this run "Little Rogers" for the rock features not usually seen in this part of the Selkirks. After some of the longest wide open turns around we climbed back up Wolf peak via upper wulf lake for some south facing goodness.
