Our friend Rich at skilift.org wants everyone here in Canada to know about this service which is free to use and will get you to the ski hill if you need a ride.

We need to be aware about our impact on the earth and this web site will help you reduce your carbon foot print, save some money or simply get you to the hill if you have no other means to get there. It is free to register and then you can offer or request rides to any number of ski resorts in Canada and the US.

Welcome to TheSkiLift.org – a carpooling and social networking site for skiers and snowboarders all over the world. The Ski Lift is completely free to users – in fact, our goal is to save you money! You can get someone to split gas, or get rides to the mountain if you don’t have a car that can make it down Vail Pass on a powder day. Carpooling is great for the environment, it’s great for traffic, and it’s a fun way to meet cool people with common interests.
