3ft o' fresh - Rockies Winter is Back

With only a few days until the official start of spring mother nature has finally decided that it is winter.

With about a meter of snow falling in the icefields region and only slightly less down in and around Bow Summit, there was some incredible skiing to be had over the past few days.

With the new snow and high winds we observed numerous natural avalanches on all aspects especially south and west facing aspects that got hit hard by the afternoon sun.
