COMP- Jimmy Simpson
Mt.Jimmy Simspon is a nice ski ascent,with great views of the wapta icefields and surrounding peaks. On this particular day we went up with a temperature inversion lingering and had our eyes on everything around us,as alot of it is south facing.
I enjoyed strolling from about 2700m to the summit half naked,until the wind started blasting at my exposed nips.
The run from the top consisted of a rockies 3 course snow meal,starting with our beloved delicacy "sastrugi",which was then followed by a nice hardpacked main course which was finished of with a nice fluffy powder dessert down to Bow lake.
