How Cold Is It? - SOAP BOX

It's almost as cold as Elizabeth Kennedy suing her dead husband's ski buddy. That's COLD!

The radio was reporting -32 in Banff this morning, -37 with the windchill. Two down jackets, four layers under that, and pockets full of hot shots was enough to keep me warm at 5:30am on Two Jack Lake. Eyelashes grew an impressive amount of ice to the point that I couldn't blink. Unfortunately the battery grip on the camera wasn't quite so warmly bundled up and things froze up after a few hours.

Temperatures are warming up for the Banff region but nothing that's going to feel overly pleasant. To make the cold temps even more miserable, there is  no snow in the forecast according to Environment Canada as I write this. Hope they're wrong!
