Movember in the Rockies - SOAP BOX
It's Movember in the Rockies... and it is hard not to wish for Mo'...
Like a lot Mo' Sno'!
Early season efforts in Kananaskis, Yoho, and along the Icefields Parkway have all turned up relatively thin unconsolodated snowpacks... anywhere from a few cm to over a metre depending on location, elevation, and aspect. In the last week the snowpack has gotten a little more supportive and ski quality has improved tremeandously, but it is still far from optimal. Much of the easy access skiable terrain has been tracked. Hoping for snow every night and blue sky every day. Good turns are out there, and even the not so good ones are bringing some smiles.
It's early season and it just feels good to be sliding on snow!
