Photo Comp- \"Crowfoot Pass\"
My wife and I have had countless trips to the Bow Lake area of the Ice-fields Parkway. Crowfoot Mountain and its glacier have always been a spectacle worthy of further exploration. A bluebird day finely gave us the chance. Once we were above tree-line, the undulations of the route to Crowfoot Pass offered interesting route finding and amazing views.
Pictured is my wife Brenda, enjoying the untracked paradise leading to Bow Mountain and the pass. The day ended with a great run down, including numerous powder slopes- the best of which being a large bowl near the toe of the glacier.
Definitely one of the best days we have had ski-touring!
