PHOTO COMP - Narao Shoulder
I took this shot while chewing on some lunch during a trip to do some yo-yo sking at Narao Shoulder by Lake O’Hara.
BETA: Park at the Lake O‘Hara lot and head up the fireroad towards the lake a few kilometers until the trail to Ross Lake on the left. Follow the Ross Lake trail for 5-10 minutes or so then start heading up the slopes on your right. At about the two hour mark from the car we had gained 625 meters and were at a bench looking up a final open slope to the ridge of Narao. We stopped here and yo-yoed back down to the Ross Lake trail, giving a run of 400 meters through nice glades with a few short and open slopes. In 6.5 hours we did three laps for a total of 1550 meters gain for the day.
Enjoy!
