Rockies Drought

Not a lot of significant snow around the Rockies for January. The Alberta Environment snow data seems to have all but flatlined. Motivation is dropping off a little too. Definitely time for a refresh but not much of anything in the forecast.

Drabs of snow, lots of wind, and wild temperature swings is all the weather there seems to have served up. Turning the snowpack into a bit of a layer cake… and not a very delicious one.

A few January snow sliding adventures in Kootenay and Yoho. Not terrible considering the amount of wind and lack of snow, but far from inspiring.
