Still Not Skiing
Dear 2014,
I would truly love to see tons of snow fall in Canadian Rockies for the next three months. Santa gave me some really nice socks for Christmas, but I'd be happy to trade them with you for a bunch of snow.
Let me know if you want the socks and we can arange the trade.

It's been a month since we strapped on the snow sliding gear.
Kananaskis Public Safety called the current ski quality abysmal a few days ago, and have been out ice climbing.
With no significant snow in the forecast for the Rockies, it's hard to be too hopeful about the season ahead.
Still not skiing, but gotta do something. Went for a walk up the rambling approach pitches on Cascade Falls for the New Year. Pretty warm up there staring into the yellow orb in the sky. Lots of eggshell rotting ice getting baked in the sun.
