Sunshine and Ski Crampons
Had a great day with amazing views skiing up Mt.Fairview in Lake Louise yesterday. The cold temps overnight meant a good solid freeze while the sunny skies during the day meant great corn skiing on the way down. Luckily for me, I had picked up a pair of ski crampons earlier in the week, which made for super easy travel, even in the steeper sections especially as the surface warmed up a bit. There is still a ton of snow up high around Lake Louise. In fact, we were even able to ski right to the parking lot at the Lake. Here's hoping for more cold nights and sunny days and great skiing heading into May.
