Saturday Feb 22, 2014 The Akamina Parkway was still closed due to ongoing recovery efforts from the previous weeks avalanche.
With access to most of the backcountry slopes closed and super chilly temps, extra time was spent savoring eggs bennies and drinking excessive amounts of coffee at Waterton Lakes Lodge. By noon enough motivation was mustered to invent some lines in town.
