COMP - Gnarvember
After months of itching to go skiing, three friends head out to Rogers Pass in early November in search of snow. As with any early season trip, rock skis are in hand and expectations are low. From Calgary to Golden there was no snow in sight, brown grass showing everywhere. Friends back home were enjoying a weekend of double digit mountain biking and late season patio beers. Finally we reach the pass, thrilled to see snow on the ground. Still unsure of conditions higher up we gear up for the first time in months. With muscles burning we finally reach the top, looking down our run we don’t see rocks or shrubs, instead we find Gnarvember.
