We've been trying to avoid going to Rogers Pass lately due to its insane popularity. Grabbing permits at the info centre is like trying to get a lift ticket and catch first chair at a resort before all the good runs are tracked out. Even with the hords, we managed to find some space for ourselves a few kilometers up Asulkan. As Ruedi Beglinger and Scott Davis pointed out on the MCR, there is a crust sitting below the recent storm snow that we too experienced...

not sure if the said crust can be seen here?
