Rogers Pass current conditions
Anyone have any beta on how things are piling up at Rogers Pass lately - heading through on Sat Nov 20th and wondering if we should pack the skis in the car. CAA avi reports are not up and running yet but it looks cold and snowy?
From what i am hearing from that area, It is not worth it.
Snow is just getting to the road, even with the snow on the road, even with the snow touching the road, still would have to hike for a bit to get to where there is skiable stuff.
Knowing the pass, that all may change in a week.
thanks for that - that is what it looked like from the web cam but hopefully this weeks precipitation comes in the form of snow and it is good enough to skin - maybe not ski though. Just wanna stretch the legs out. The Avi reports are due to start up as well so they should tell some more info.
If it is worth it I will post a report back here after next weekend.
