Avalanche Conditions Report VIDEO
Recent storm snow totals from last week of up to 70cm of snow have set up some great skiing but there are still a few layers of concern in the snowpack. The first is the December 13th Rain Crust, then there is the December 10th Surface Hoar/ Crust combo, and finally the Nov 22 Surface Hoar/ Crust combo. Recent test show these layers are getting stronger, but these are the type of layer that have low probability but will produce high consequences. Avalanche Canada is calling the hazard Moderate, Moderate, Low, but don’t forget that Moderate hazard still means that human triggered avalanches are possible.Watch the following Avalanche Conditions Report with Whitewater Ski Patrol:
