        North Shore Avalanche Conditions January 19, 2024

        Backcountry Skiing Canada is pleased to continue our partnership with North Shore SAR and Andre-Jean to update you on the North Shore mountain snowpack conditions.
        The word from AJ is to keep your decision-making to the conservative level this week.  As the temps warm on the coast the rain has returned.  Usually, rain would not be a big issue for the coastal snowpack but with the previous polar vortex cold snap the snow is reacting quite differently than usual.  Check out AJ's full report below and stay safe.
