        North Shore Avalanche Conditions March 15, 2024

        Backcountry Skiing Canada is pleased to continue our partnership with North Shore SAR and Andre-Jean to update you on the North Shore mountain snowpack conditions.

        The spring warm-up has arrived to the North Shore.  AJ describes how all this warm weather will be affecting the snowpack and the avalanche conditions on the North Shore.  Great info and be sure to check it out to help you play safe in the mountains this week.

        If you want a detailed snowpack update on our West Kootenay area check out our own Backcountry Skiing Canada update on Feb 29 with WH2O forecaster Jay Wishie.  We have had some wild conditions in the Kootenays lately, with VERY large slides running on our Feb 1 crust.  Let's all do our part to stay informed and safe out there in the next few weeks.
