        North Shore Avalanche Conditions Friday March 22, 2024

        Backcountry Skiing Canada is pleased to continue our partnership with North Shore SAR and Andre-Jean to update you on the North Shore mountain snowpack conditions.

        This week AJ gives us a view into the unusual spring snowpack on the North Shore mountains.  Usually this time of the year we would see multiple bridging ice layers but this year due to our warm winter our first bridging ice layer is down over 100 cms.  Check out what AJ says this will mean for our spring tours.
