Search for missing mountain climbers near Squamish continues

Sad news that the search for the 3 missing climbing in Squamish continues.  But this highlights the very challenging job SAR has in this situation.  With arguably two of the most experienced SAR teams in the country Squamish and North Shore searching with no success just highlights the very challenging conditions these teams face.  Even tho the mountains are close to a major center, Vancouver they are extremely rugged with extreme shifts in spring weather patterns.  Add to this the possibility of large spring avalanches that can wipe all traces of you off the mountain and the job of finding our climbers becomes a herculean effort.  I hope for all involved that closer comes soon but having been in this situation before do not hold a lot of hope out for this.  I commend all the efforts now and into the future of all the SAR groups and appreciate their desire to bring closer to the loved ones of the climbers.  Godspeed to all.
