How to practice with your avalanche transeiver in the summer
So spring/summer is here and time to hang up your avalanche transceiver until the fall right ??? Not so fast. First, always take the batteries out if you are not going to use your transceiver for a while. Second, check it over for cracks or signs it might not function at 100%. Third, if you have time summer can still be a great time to practice and keep up with your skills. Here is a great video from BCA on some summer transceiver drills. Enjoy the summer but don't forget winter is only a few months away...Yahoo...
