Salomon 50° North Episode 5 -- Video

Last week we shared a video of Andrew McLean talking about his techniques for skiing steep terrain. I just came across this segment from Salomon TV and it struck me how radically different the two videos were--even though they dealt with the same subject matter. 

In this, Episode 5 of Salomon's 50° North series, Tony Lamiche and Alex Pittin ramp it all up a bit and show us how it is done around Chamonix. The terrain is way steeper and with more consequence than what Andrew McLean shows us in the Wasatch.  As Alex explains in French, "if you fall, you could end up like a pizza."
